With the advent of the Obama administration’s decision not to prosecute users, providers or growers, sanctioned under a state’s medical marijuana law, a cottage industry of marijuana/pot commerce has begun to grow. The most recent and perhaps most ambitious is a school identified as the “Med Grow Cannabis College.” At this “college” the curriculum relates to the history, agriculture, legal and medical issues associated with the Michigan’s new medical marijuana law. The school offers a six week primer on medical marijuana. The tuition is a mere $485.
Under Michigan’s Medical Marijuana Law, qualified patients or “care givers” can grow up to 12 marijuana/pot plants.
